About 'Killer Queen':

In this BNS’ interpretation of Fredy Mercury he has a “Mary” tattoed on his left cheek, she was his big one true love. Also theres “Killer Queen” tattooed under his eyes, which is the name of the piece as well as one BNS’s favorite track. He has the Queen logo on his neck and also a tooth which is a reference to his own dental condition that made him sign so uniquely. He’s rocking a CBGB t-shirt and a leather jacket, where he has a BNS, a “God save the queen” with Freddy face and crown, a misfits and a black flag pin. He is also rocking a mullet and a cigaret behind his ear so no one can doubt this is a rock and roll fuelled piece.

About BNS' 'Dissociative Identity' works:

This series was initially created as a street art project and started out in New York City around 2009. Many of these portraits were pasted up around different cities such as NYC, Miami, Moscow, Toronto and Barcelona among others.

His company of bespoke-suited Storm troopers, or a tatted-out Audrey Hepburn overturn the familiar tropes of popular culture, merging characters and ideas with BNS’ frenzied burst of color and a hint of dry humor, inviting the viewer to re-examine our perspective on the most iconic portraits of the last couple decades. BNS has an original and easily recognisable style where he blends his graffitis, tattoos, and signature elements into each iconic portrait.

Every element included in these portraits is carefully selected uniting the subject and its story. The tattoos are usually a reference to their personal life, such as the city where they were born, a romantic story, or a particular date that forged their career while the titles are usually the punchline of the work.
